Session 3 - 2:45pm -3:15pm

This session we will be focusing on improving our ability to talk to our accompanists. The instructors will be giving a workshop designed to teach melody instrumentalists (fiddlers and pipers) how to tell their accompanists what they need to do. In the class, students will play a tune as Ward accompanies them, we will then chart the chords for that tune. Every tune chart will be typed up and all students will get a copy of each, which they can give to any guitar or piano player.

Accompanists will also want to be present, as this is exactly what it's all about!

 

 

Sat. Night Supper/Jam Session/Party - Keith's House in Mariaville - 6:00

Keith's wife Kelly will be making a delicious vegetarian dinner, which you can either bring a side dish to or chip in monetarily (depending on what it costs Kelly usually less than $5).

Session 4 - 10:30am - 12:30pm
